The ABC' s of Magical Creatures - Y is for Y Gwyllied Cochion

Hi All,
From A-Z, magical creatures abound. This forum might be a great place to learn about them. This information is from The Element Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures.

Y Gwyllied Cochion (or the Red Fairies)
Welsh fairies who lived in the forest of Coed y Dugoed Mawr and used stone arrowheads, or Elf Bolts. In 1535 Baron Owen hanged many of them and it is suspected that the YGwyllied Cochion have died out. Though it is said that some survivors revenged themselves on the Baron.
