Ever since I read Good/Bad faeries, this question has been killing me. I'm dying to know what a grinling is... I was even thinking about emailing Froud and asking him. Any thoughts?

Here's my thought after looking at him for awhile just now...he is perhaps, the "straw that breaks the camels back" so to speak, the final thing that causes breakdown/break through to happen. Often we NEED that in order to move forward in life, but it's never fun...maybe THAT is the grinlings job. It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it. LOL I can think of a few people in my life that would make good grinlings.
