The Jelly Faerie

Gluminous luminous
globuous wobulous
The Jelly faerie is insidious
It's powers are hideous

You'll forget it's there
It's hidden in your hair

The jelly faeire isn't dairy
born from sheep guts
and only wants to get along
with our digestion
I question it's intention

The Jelly faerie very scary
it gets into your cells
will it harmonise to your demise
it's the jelly in your eyes

where do you begin and the jelly end?

I call it sugar
and it calls me baby
and my pancreas calls it a *****
I beg the jelly emphatically
'Tell me where you stand!'

but that only makes it cry.

Interesting poem Priestess. I am imagining the Jelly Fairy to possibly represent a few things. Is this a diabetes poem? You don't have to tell, of course...if you wish to leave it to the reader to decide.

lol. The character in my space-spoof screenplay is called Jelly Theos. The Jelly faerie lives inside the Jelly until you eat it (it's a hermaphrodite) then it becomes part of you. That's how it works.

I have a mild hyperglycemia problem but not diabetes. Thanks for being caring.
