Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

The AFTN End of Season Poll

Dzien dobry.

Another season over. Another season of hopes and aspirations go over the sea wall. So now it's time to look back in the AFTN End of Season poll.

Post your answers to the following ten questions in this thread by the end of the month and I'll collate them all up in some form or other. Who knows, may even knock up some pie charts!

That long-range goal by Kevin Gordon, near the end of one of the games.

I liked the latter away match to East Stirling match, for some excellent goalkeeping and Craig O'Reilly's leading of the line.

(3) EAST FIFE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON

The quenching of hatred towards Gordon EF.

Anything that drowns out the bloke with the spectacles near the back who moans in an annoying voice.

(10) WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN THE REVAMPED AFTN MAIN SITE?

Anything that could forge links with anything at all in the local community, whether it is articles about local junior or amateur teams, articles about what's coming up at the Rothes Halls or articles about 2 for 1 deals on Burberry baseball caps at The Turret.

Didn't see too many games, i'll go for the 3-1 win at Arbroath.

There's a great atmosphere at the club, you see it straight away when you walk through the front door at Bayview. It makes a big differnce.
