Away From The Numbers
All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.
The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.
This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Was talking about a rumour today that ex Rovers player, and poster on this very site, Ally Gourlay is considering an offer to switch from the Rovers backroom side to the East Fife backroom set up to help bolster the PR and hospitality side and to set up an ex East Fife players association like he has done very successfully at the Rovers.
Another poaching from the wee Fife diddies? More rats leaving a sinking ship?
Once Ally's in the bag, wonder who we'll go for next! 
do you know ally and what he does i do and he certainly isnt backroom staff.he works with the ex players association bringing players to games and functions.he certainly wont be leaving us he may try to help you set up your own association.as for ex rovers player i have never heard the likes and you lot really dont have a clue do you.

The work he does with the ex Rovers players stuff is fantastic. I'm guessing that's what HDYLYE was meaning by backroom.
Was speaking with Ally today about what's been rumoured weirdly enough, but can't say any more than that in fairness to him.
