Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Cowdenbeath Highlights

Highlights from Saturday's game are now on the official site along with a post-match interview with Gordon Durie.

Re: Cowdenbeath Highlights

Excellent highlights as always.
As supporters I suspect that we take the highlights for granted. I for one, would like to thank you for this service.I additionally think that the post match interview with Gordon Durie enhanced the service.

Re: Cowdenbeath Highlights

spot on!

Re: Cowdenbeath Highlights

Thanks again to Graeme for the excellent match coverage and to Stevie and Graeme for the interview with the manager.

We hope to make the manager's comments a regular event, certainly at home games, and to involve some of the players as well.

We're also looking to producing a monthly magazine type programme if we can find the resources.

If anyone would like to be involved as part of our media and/or commentary team please get in touch with me.

Superb stuff once again, Graeme. Keep up the good work.
(how come there's only four replies to this post . . .is it maybe because there's nothing tae greet aboot with reagard tae the superb highlights coverage we enjoy every week??)

You mean apart from the fact that not enough people are replying saying how great it is?

Great job Graeme!

Interviews are a great idea.

Re: Cowdenbeath Highlights

On behalf of all the exiles I say thanks for a job well done, it keeps us uptodate on the team.

It is a pity such a poor goal robbed us of a point on Saturday.

I like the other posts do not understand why more people do not give credit where credit is due to these videos, and post a comment.

To be fair, highlights are posted up every week. Everyone trotting out to say "Great job!" every single time a video is posted would be a bit tedious. I've never heard anything but positives about the highlights put on the website.
