Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

2012/13 Strips

Are we sticking with the 1903 own brand for next season?
If so, any chance of a design competition?

Also the season after next is a great opportunity to exploit fans' £££'s - East Fife FC will be 110 years old AND it's the 75th anniversary of the Scottish Cup win = 110th anniversary home strip, 75th anniversary limited edition boxed Scottish Cup strip (to be worn in cup games), new away and 3rd strips.

Another way to get publicity/ help good causes (most importantly) is to have a replica goal keeper jersey (short sleeved), with charity logo/ colours and donate a percentage of the sales to the charity.

i.e. Pink = Tickled Pink (ASDA breast cancer charity)
luminous green = Everyman (male cancer charity)
avocado green = Maggie's Centre
white/green/red = CHAS
bright yellow = Marie Curie

These are just a few charities off the top of my head.
The shirts will have BROWN 1 in brown number and lettering on the back.

If the chosen charity were to be Tickled Pink for example, a pink shirt with the pink ribbon logo (different shade of pink with white outline) on the front and the words "Tickled Pink" on the back would look smart. It would need to be short sleeved as it is for the replica market.
