Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Weather Forecast?

Hello all

Following my ill-fated effort to realise my long-held ambition of seeing an East Fife match a couple of years ago (the match was postponed due to a frozen pitch, although I got to see you in a friendly), I'm having another try next Saturday. Fingers crossed there's no sudden dramatic drop in temperature or torrential downpour on Friday night.

It looks set up to be a big game, so am really looking forward to it.

better hope this fog clears!

Re: Weather Forecast?

I remember you, Yorkshireman! Hope you make it up next week, and sincerely hope its worth the effort!!!

Re: Weather Forecast?

Thank Jim, yes I remember you as well, & still have the scarf I was given as well. I was gutted that the game with Arbroath was called off, but still enjoyed the day at the bounce match.

I've tried to get to a few games since but you've nearly always been away whenever I've been up in Edinburgh, or for various reasons I've not been able to get across so for once this one has landed right. I'll make sure I say hello if I see you.

Re: Weather Forecast?

Great stuff! Hope you have a fantastic trip and the game next Sat should be a cracker. Mon the Fife.
