Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Next Sat v Stenny!!!

After a couple of fantastic wins v Dumbarton and Brechin, and also a helping hand from Albion at the weekend. Our playoff hopes look good, Sat in my opinion is a must win game, we need a BIG crowd at Bayview to support the lads, they will be buzzing and we need to do all we can to help them, lets be a 12th man and get right behind them.....really looking for to this and im hoping the fans turn up in numbers. Mon the Fife!!!

Re: Next Sat v Stenny!!!

Not a must win game but it would certainly help! Hopefully the fans will turnout in numbers and get right behind the team.

Everytime we have a big crowd at home we get beat.

Re: Next Sat v Stenny!!!

What like the Dunfermline game Another Sigh?!?!?!?!

Re: Next Sat v Stenny!!!

initially, I thought Another Sigh has a point. The wins when we have had a 4 figure crowd in the past 20-25 years have been few. Can't remember a Fife Derby in the past while, Arbroath in the Scottish Cup going back to the old Bayview...... and then you remember, Hibs, St Mirren, The season Dunfermline couldnt beat us, last day v Queens Park, this season v Dunfermline and Aberdeeen. When it comes to it, we can win the big games, especially when Gordon Durie is involved!

Cannae wait for Saturday. I believe!!!

would be a cracking one to win and why not? A decent start should see the home crowd getting behind the team and get the win we need.

Thought I'd be the first to mention it's The Warriors not Stenny

Re: Next Sat v Stenny!!!

I am well looking forward to this game. A win and we are in charge to the play off. Come on the Fife and the supporters make the dream happen.

...that doesn'ae mean play the high ball

Loved it at Brechin when Bobby skinned one guy then megged the second player with ease and whipped the cross over. More of that please
