With the current doom and gloom in regards to many people thinking there's apathy towards Scottish football and of course the economic climate, I think for the four clubs to be in the first div next season would be tremendous.
6 massive home gates for each team, 6 great away days etc etc...

Dunfermline have done their bit and Cowdenbeath not far away it's down to us and EF to do a wee bit more.

Thoughts and has it when has this happened before?

I think it has only happened twice before when we were all in the Scottish Second Division in Seasons 1946-47 and 47-48!!!

Thanks for the stats, some of those results look like they were mouth watering games! It CAN only be a good thing for all four teams if it happens.
I believe the general consesus of dunfermline fans is they can't wait to get back to the 1st division again to rekindle the derbies and win a home game!
When you throw Falkirk, Dundee and even Livingston into the mix it's big gates, big atmosphere (generally speaking) and a whole lot more to look forward too.

For the first time in a while I have to say I am confident that we will stay up. Four consecutive games now we have trailed only to end up unbeaten. Two ninety fifth minute goals in that same period only shows the spirit in the side.

Scumfermline are doomed and despite losing today I think Mickey will bring Cowden up.

So its up to you hams to make Fife the cauldrun of Scottish football next season.

Chester Snaveley tells me you won easily today and that your next two games are against the bottom two. If all goes to plan you should be in the play off position with three games to go.

If you can squeeze your way into the play offs I think you would want Ayr in there from the first division. They appear to have hit a bad run of form and you could well beat them over the two games.

I would love to see all four Fife clubs together in the one league. That together with Falkirk, Dundee and Livingston its close to a derby every second week.

And with you lot in the league we are off to a 12 point start.

We were discussing this possibility on the way back from Forfar. Yes, it would be a brilliant league with all four Fife teams competing.
Interesting, too, to read that Pars fans were relishing a return to the First Division after being in the Stagnant Pond League.
To be honest, playing in the SPL would be MY worst nightmare. Totally pointless competition next season (and for the foreseeable future) with the winner now decided before it's even started. Absolutely no competition at all (mind you, there's not really much difference because it was a two club contest in any case!).
Here's hoping for a great 1st Division next term!
(of course, we might just pip Raith in the play-offs, which would mean East Fife, Cowden and the Pars in the 1st and Rovers in the 2nd!! )

Anyway good luck, I hope your board have dangled a major carrot/bonus to the players and management as in relative scottish football terms it could be jackpot time for the Fife clubs. Us two managed 5k at Starks in the second div (the one where Stevie Crawford missed an open net in the last minute!)

Don`t get to many games these days due to work commitments but attended the last 2 home games and wasn`t too impressed with the Fife. The next 2 games are massive and i`d imagine we will have to improve significantly against better opposition if we are to make the play offs. Got to remain positive tho and i would love us to join the other Fife teams in the 1st div. Exciting times. Mon the Fife.

If the tables were turned, I would want to see Raith fail to reach the play-offs, and then go into administration for good measure. They are lucky they have not gone under already, after years and years of over-spending when they have tried and failed failed failed to live up to their big time charlie ideas.
