Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

making money

you erses had achance this season to get into the most competative scottish league for yonks and you have blown it think 4 fife teams in the same league and this league would have been very tightbbut you cunts yet again fell down. You can spout your history but what have you done since 1945 or whenever I dispair, you're shite and will probably remain so.What a waste of a spare acre of dockland.

Re: making money

I'd rather watch and exciting season of a cup run and chasing the play-offs than Rovers, trying to avoid them and only securing first division status on the last fortnight of the season. All of that assuming you're a Rovers fan which most of the wankers are. Possibly a Cowden fan but don't think anyone from their set of 300 fans has internet access.

I would rather watch my team survie on the second last day of the season than chase a play off spot in a league below. I would rather be playig first division football than second. I would rather be playing in the Fife mini league than not. I would rather see history being made than read about or have been told about it by a now dead family member. We are not be going to Alloa and the plastic fantastic. You are possibly an East Fife fan who will enjoy the long road trips that are division 2. As for the internet you probably live in Kirkcaldy.

Report card- FAIL

You would rather see history made? No history was made this season, and you have no evidence of any being made next season. At least for us we had a decent cup run, giving SPL teams a go, when Rovers fell down to nearly all First Division teams time after time.
