Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2012/2013

Can you also ask the board to make a statement or give reasoned argument why people who have because of age beensubjected to a rise in price that makes following our team probably the most expensive experience in the division.it is hardly likely that people as sixty year olds become first time supporters.it is more likely they have contributed to the coffers for a number of years so this 40% plus increase is hardly a recognition of such support

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2012/2013

I am horrified at next seaons ticket prices, I am a single father of 9, how Im i supposed to bring my kids to watch the great EFFC when prices are like this! I may ring up the club and complain as I as dont feel my support of the club over the last 5 minutes is being appreciated.

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2012/2013

Live games would be a big pull for fans to get to the ground a bit earlier. Did a barmaid not win an EU legal challenge to show live games without subsidising Rupert Murdochs pension via a sky subscription.

I think it was an arabic station she got beamed in and there are always games via the tinternet. Sound down Cazza doing the commentary ... Sorted!!!

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2012/2013

Going to away games, you notice more and more pubs in the towns are showing live footy via arabic satellite channels.Would be good in the bar at bayview, and can only bring more punters in.

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2012/2013

It would also be interesting to know what each club offers a season ticket.
At East Fife it is 18 SFL league games only. No friendlies, no cup ties, not even Fife Cup, and no playoff games. Also no discounts on merchandise, hospitality etc.

Poor show East Fife, come on have another look at this, it's obviously been a mistake. How about the board puts their hands up and admits they got it wrong?
