Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Re: East Fife Open Day

Having been at a previous open day i can remember getting moaned at because there was no food available. So will there be food available and there might be some money made from the sale of it.

Re: East Fife Open Day

We are in the process of getting a burger and ice cream van waiting to hear back from them this weekend, if you know of anyone looking to raise some funds please pass on the info to them about the stalls.

Re: East Fife Open Day

When I am hosting a function or private party I always ensure there are plentiful stocks of cheese, biscuits and wine.If I really want to impress I often set up a fondue, which never fails to attract admiring glances. So come on East Fife lets make this open day special and incorporate some of my snack ideas to make this party rock!!!PS always use top quality cheese for both biscuits and fondue.

The club could make money by doing simple snacks and get the revenue from that as well as the drinks surely, nae point in having the facilities and having them idle

Re: East Fife Open Day

what's this about a burger van....... is this coz we no allowed beer on train anymore.

It's ok though we're getting a boat to Peterheid and Arbroath.

Re: East Fife Open Day

What about Gettting Coldplay to perform at the event - would be a major coup. This and Tams fondues could revolutionise the clubs future. This is just the beginning.
Come on board and organisers, what about it,. Get off your backsides and don't leave it all to us supporters.
