Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

dunfermline game

I have been asked by fans if we are taking a coach to the game the answer is yes,but only if the club can confirm a date. The coach will be smaller this season as we have been quoted some ridiculous prices, and I hope to get as many names as soon as possible for the peterhead game,I am looking at other coach companies and have got some quotes but there will be a slight rise from £5 and £10 as we have 2 further away trips (Ayr and Dumfries)I have been quoted prices from £440 for a 29 seater to £495 35 seater to Ayr and Dumfries ,but I will try and keep them low as possible.if anyone want seats to the Dunfermline game contact me asap as I think it will be a smaller coach.I will be in contact with fans who travel with us which I have there phone numbers soon.
thanks
zak

I think the first half is to be at bayview, and the 2nd half at east end park. It's an experiment and if it works out then they'll bring it in to all cup competitions from this season onwards.

It would work well if Dundee and Dundee Utd were drawn but otherwise I'm not so sure. Half time may have to be about an hour or longer to allow the transfer of players fans and officials. In short, a crazy idea from a crazy mind

You could field two teams which play simultaneously, and the result is determined by the aggregate score of the matches.
