Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

kenny miller

looks to be heading to the vancouver whitecaps

Re: kenny miller

Yup. Officially announced this morning.

Quite the Scottish contingent we're having here.

I had a quick chat with him after the press conference about a couple of things, so that will be up on AFTN (Canada) later. Will be of interest to fans of the national team!!

For now, here's a piece I wrote on him from yesterday and one from today:

Re: kenny miller

Ok, here's my first of two interviews coming up with Kenny Miller.

Today, we chat about why he made the move to Canada, what he knows about his new home city and why he'll settle better here than he did in Turkey.

Re: kenny miller

Aye, it's on there as well. You're just a jealous Dallas fan (who are awful this year).

Anyway, here's some more from Kenny as he talks to me about his future international plans now that he's moved to Canada.

Re: kenny miller

KotS is just a jealous Dallas fan? – good man! A good win last Saturday against the Crapids – but yes, a shite season so far!

Re: kenny miller

It's all AlbaTexas' fault anyway. My summer's used to be free from worrying about under-achieving football teams. Then, a Dallas top appeared through the post!

Re: kenny miller

It could have been worse, a Raith or Rangers top coming through the post.

Re: kenny miller

gof ask him about tam mc manus ex eastfife loan player.tams best mate.
