Just thought I would start a thread about betting (I know some are for and some against gambling), but this is for those who do it. What a great feeling it is to walk out of the bookings after a winning bet, they hate it. So thought it would be good to start up a thread on what people put on etc, can be from football, horses, rugby, darts etc, this is just to everyone know the best odds and cheey wee tips to put on and hopefully everyone can profit now and then.

Everyday I will post my predicted coupon etc and see how we all get on.

There's 40 games being played across Europe tonight. It's the second leg ties of the 2nd qualifying round in the Europa League.

Some of the games have all but been settled in the first leg, however it's the games where it's all to be played for that interests me tonight:

ELFSBORG v Dacia (agg. 0-1)
It come somewhat of a surprise when Elfsborg couldn't even manage a draw against Moldova side Dacia last week. They still have the chance to proceed in the competition tonight however, and I fully expect them to do so as their home record in Europe is superb.

Inter Turku v FC TWENTE (agg. 1-1)
Despite having a large percentage of possession and countless miss opportunities in the first leg, FC Twente only managed a draw against Inter Turku from Finland. Twente have enjoyed great success in the Europa league over the last few seasons, and they will want do do the same again this season.

LECH POZNAN v Khazar Lankaran (agg. 1-1)
Lech Poznan was another team with a disappointing performance last week. The tie currently sits at 1-1, but Pozan are another team with experience in Europe and have only ever lost 2 home games in the competition while their opponents tonight have only ever won one game in Europe. With odds of 8/15, Poznan look to be one of the bets of the day.

VITESSE v Lokomoviv Plovdiv (agg. 4-4)
Vitesse enjoyed a successful season in Holland last year, and earned themselves a place in Europe for 10 years. 8 goals were scored in the first leg between the two teams last week, but I think the goal tally will be more one sided tonight. Plovdiv have actually not won a game in their last 8 in all competitions conceding 25 goals! They have also lost all their away games in Europe in the past.

I mind hearing a bookie on the radio saying that all bookies collectively make a loss every week on the 'over/under 2.5 goals' bet. Have had 13 out of 14 a couple of times for silly money. It's a good wee 50p side bet.

personally I wouldnt really be touching the womens olympic football today but if I was to choose 1 I would say U.S.A.

Dynamo Kiev to beat Feyenoord in the champs league 3rd round qualifier.

And also Pterhead v Dundee to finish with over 2.5 goals within the 90 minutes.

They are all teams that are playing at home, and alot of the odds are very short so don't go stacking up the accumulator just to get more money, bet doubles, trebles and quads.....even a five fold with more on it is better than having a slip of say 9 teams and 1 lets you down.
