Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Sean Jamieson

Signed last night, according to his twitter. Personally, I like the look of the lad, could link up well with big Sammy

Re: Sean Jamieson

Any news on the other 4 trialists signing up? Was particularly impressed with King and Samuel. Would like to see them signed up before others!

Re: Sean Jamieson

If true, I think we have a good young prospect striker now signed up. He scored a great goal against DAFC and from someone who played in the juniors I really think he's a real gem and a bargain for us Welcome to Fife Jamieson!
I agree with others would love to see Samuel and the wee guy King but I'm worried about our left back position if cook picks up injuries though Johnstone can play there, that is our weakness in the team everywhere else seems fine.

Re: Sean Jamieson

Two seasons with Haddington: 69 starts, 3 subs, 64 goals, 7 yellows. Prolific, hard working, enthusiastic. Our loss will indeed be your gain

All the best to Sean and to East Fife

Re: Sean Jamieson

He looked good against pars and also against falkirk, looks as though he likes to take a defender on.

what age is he?? and what length of contract has he been given?

Re: Sean Jamieson

Heard from reliable source that both King ans Samuel won't be signing.

Re: Sean Jamieson

Sean is either 21 or 22. No older certainly

Re: Sean Jamieson

King was told Monday he won't be getting signed.
