Away From The Numbers
All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.
The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.
This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.
Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Naw! It's actually - here we go again, somebody puts a sarcastic post about East Fife, then somebody else makes a cheap snide remark about the club not updating on 'social media' sites! It is so f'n tiresome reading these constant bitchy remarks coming from the same tubes having a go at East Fife and they call themselves supporters!! Then you get a pratt like DLA trying to defend the bitchy comments. It beggars belief!

What are you talking about? What gossip are you talking about in this instance?
It was posted in here, Facebook and Twitter, either from, or on the authorised behalf of, East Fife Football Club. It was the official twitter and the official facebook and posted by a board member on here. It looks like we're turning into an amateur club, on and off the park, from one week to the next. So where was the gossip about Barr, and where are the non-gossip club announcements, why were they removed and where's the official update?

Exactly. As far as I knew (following all this) we'd signed him. Now a few folk are saying we "obviously haven't" signed him because all the posts were deleted and the player himself said he wasn't on Twitter. Just wondering if the club had a follow up statement/explanation. If there's been a mistake then fair enough, these things happen. Simply pretending it never happened will just lead to confusion and more ammo against the board though.
