Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Boycot

I heard that alot of fans were discussing boycotting the next home game because of the board and the way that the club is being run, were not wanting to donate our hard earned cash to the board just to pocket!!! Also a number of other reasons have been accumulated to this decision;

1 - No investment in the club

2 - Little or no club updates, statements ever coming out of the club, very poor communication from the club to the fans

3 - The Rangers money.....nobody knows what's going on

4 - The squad is getting worse (we love the club and I never slate the players but this isn't on)

5 - Marketing side of the club is very very poor, price of games are scandalous to what we are watching (same with all games in Scotland mind you) but £13 is robbery.

We need to take a stand, the board should realise the fans make the club and with us dwindling out, there will be non left......we need a fresh start and I can't see another way of the board realising

Re: Boycot

That's really going to help isn't it. At the moment there is plenty time to save the season, we need to support the club. Boycott at this time is barking mad IMO. Btw with poor sponsorship across the country, playing, back room and office staff to pay, plus stewards, medical cover, the ground to keep up to standard etc with 500 fans going through the gate what price do you think we could pay at the gate and keep our heads above water ?
