Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Corporate

Was thinking about doing the corporate package. Can anyone advise if this represents good value and are the meals of a good standard?

Re: Corporate

For the past 3 years, I have taken a table for my brothers and father as their christmas present.
It is a good way of giving some money to the club, and having a good day out.
Although EF have failed to win on each occassion, the pain has been somewhat numbed.
The food has always been good, and the servers look after you well, keeping the drinks flowing. Harry and Eugene give a pre-meal stadium tour which is interesting and informative.

Only gripe is I think there should be some form of discount for season ticket holders, who have already paid for there match admission anyway.

Go for it, I am sure you will enjoy.

Re: Corporate

The club has a deal for Season Ticket holders costing a £20 donation.
This includes a 3 course lunch with tea or coffee, programme and team sheet, and half - time tea/coffee and a pie.

Drinks you pay in addition.

Re: Corporate

I was at the corporate on sat took a party of 19 had the 2 wee rooms and I have to say it was easily the best corporate day we have had.
The meals were fantastic and the service from our young hostess was second to none (even joining in with the banter which was great.)
We do this every year and at last I saw us also winning which was even better. The majority of the guys who were at it this time had never been before and I have been getting texts thanking me all day yesterday even asking to get there names down and have another BEFORE the end of the season.

Highly recommended
