Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

foreign money

Real EF fans are always on here...warts and all...so I ask you....would there be any animosity towards non Scottish money being invested in the club?
Normal, sometimes very funny comments welcome, but genuine thoughful real reaction too. Please be honest:-)

Re: foreign money

No, no animosity at all, why would there be?

You got some spare cash then Jimmy? If so you can have a covered terracing named after you. The Jimmy Choo enclosure has a nice ring to it I think.

Re: foreign money

The club's "owned" by a little girl. A shady foreign oligarch would be a welcome change.

Even better if you get your brother involved too. Then, the Rovers will have the Railway Enclosure and we can have the Choo Choo terracing.

I'm sure I've got a 25 pesatas coin dangling from a string necklace somewhere in the house...

Re: foreign money

What's a pesata? Que pais?

Re: foreign money

For Christmas I would like a life size owner in full working order, one who had a name and maybe even a phone number and address. Dont really care where he or she comes from although we do not want any representatives of corrupt oppressive regimes like Syria, China, Dunfermline Athletic, The Bowling Club etc etc

That way come the revolution we would know who to overthrow.

Re: foreign money

Hello Mr Abramovich, if you have become fed up with your London toy, please feel free to come to Methil and get a new one. Any investment nowadays cannot be dismissed. Legal that is!
