Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Game v Ayr United

Can`t see nothing ref pitch inspection on official site or SFL page. What`s the chances of game being on 2moro? I live in Leuchars and it`s really bad with snow up this end. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Game v Ayr United

No snow here although some sleet is falling just now.Would imagine game would be on.

Re: Game v Ayr United

Really bad snow across in west Fife today but no idea what it's like down in Ayr.

Thought the club behaved responsibly before the Stranraer game by making the early call off to save away fans the hassle of travelling.

Hope they plan to make a similar arrangement for this game.

Thanks.

Re: Game v Ayr United

Am also following the weather reports with interest. No snow here in the East Neuk and encouraging to hear none in Methil.

BBC Weather says sleet expected overnight, but temperatures not likely to fall below freezing, and a chance of a little winter sunshine over the game tomorrow.

Fingers crossed!

Re: Game v Ayr United

I wonder if we will will get 600+ fans with free tickets been sent to local schools in the area and Ayr has a good away support so will we both turn up to support the teams tomorrow, iv been surprise weeks ago that we had 400-500 support the Fife and the biggest league attendance we have had was the QOS game at home. Come on fans...Lets support the Fife!

Liam Buchanan is with Ayr so i see, time to get into this team
Another Whitey volley would do
