Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Video about Supporting East Fife

Some of you may remember a few months ago that student Megan Ord made a video about supporting East Fife.

Here's the link:

https://vimeo.com/58360550

Maybe someone cleverer than I can make it a clicky one!

Top video that !!!

Re: Video about Supporting East Fife

Do these people class themselves as real EF fans?.Just because they selflessly give up their own time and money to tirelessly arrange fund raisers, buses etc and make sure the pitch is in top condition, the tannoy announcements are made etc, etc, etc.Well they`re not real fans, real fans don`t go to games, volunteer, fund raise, produce programmes and the like.Real fans sit at home with their computers lambasting everyone connected to the club whilst writing knowing comments about behind the scenes skullduggery. How about a video saluting the real fans?

Re: Video about Supporting East Fife

Really good stuff. Well done!

Re: Video about Supporting East Fife

I had no idea that this video was being made! When was it filmed?

Re: Video about Supporting East Fife

Real fan, I have read your post and I am sickened by your attack on the real real fans.
I am sure all the lonlies will support me when I demand your resignation from anything constructive you are involved in.

p.s. don't even consider applying for a "The Bayview" franchise.

Re: Video about Supporting East Fife

Well done Megan, that is a good video.

Re: Video about Supporting East Fife

Jim

Megan approached the club a couple of months ago and asked if she could make a video as part of her course.

We were delighted to be able to help her and gave her access for filming.

I think she's done a great job and I'd also like to thank the folk who took part in it.

I was also approached by another student wanting to do a photography project and I met up with him but not sure how far he's progressed with it.
