Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

According to hissy's twitter was playing at centre half with davie white 2day for boness.Anybody shed any light on this?

Whitey seemingly allowed to play for Bo'ness when he is not selected to play for East Fife. This seems a really strange arrangement when we have Bob Malcolm on the bench when he is unlikely to be fit, and is certainly not match fit. These days nothing surprises me about the goings on at Bayview !!!

If this is true then that seems crazy!! Bob Malcolm simply makes up the numbers and is only there in case of an extreme emergency. I mean I have never seen him warm up during a game with the other substitutes?

is bob no the replacement number two for Billy as we havent got a assitant as Chisholm left earlier this season maybe this is why he doesnt train with the other subs and left the ground after the game with a suit.

Whether he is Assistant Manager or not if he is named as a sub he should warm up the same as the others so he is ready to go on if required. If there is no intention of him being involved, why is David White being allowed to play for Bo'ness if he's not starting for the Fife. What would happen if Campbell or McCormack were seriously injured early in the game ? Is Malcolm fit enough to come on and play 85 mins ? If he is not then dWhite should have been on the bench. What leaving the ground wearing a suit has to do with anything is beyond me !

I can't believe white is being allowed to play for boness if not playimg for the fife,surely he's back there on loan.I've not bedn 1 of those moaners about the club but some sort of info about players would be good,pollock was released and nothing on the official website,c'mon east fife u can do better than this surely
