Away From The Numbers
All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.
The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.
This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

I'll cross them over, you head them in. Now, if only we could get Barr and McManus doing the same thing. 
Lol - believe me, I could scarcely be more chilled out about it. However, I've been asked to encourage posters to stick to the forum guidelines and those guidelines ask us to "respect your fellow fans and posters."
I happen to agree with that principle but respect your right to defend the use of personal abuse as you have done. I'm not telling you what to think. Clearly, you feel strongly enough about this after all, to make what appears to be your first ever contribution to our 'crumbling forum'. Welcome aboard anyway.
LOL, "respect your fellow fans and posters." What about the players who turn up and represent our team week on week? Nothing but abuse on a weekly basis, respect forum my arse. How many INDIVIDUAL posters have made an effort to post since the start of this year? Look back at the same period last year and the fact will tell you this forum is a “crumbling forum” The AFTN forum has always been interesting to say the least only because of the open banter and opinions. Do we not have the same banter at the games?

cheers.Seems some get to say what they want and get away with it and other don't. Others get to post comments about the team when they don't attend games. Freedom of speech but as I said some get away with it!!!
