Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Another plea

Can I first of all say thanks to everyone that attended the Dunfermline game the last time i put a post up, every penny is needed and I would urge all East Fife fans to get along to the next pars home game on the 6th of April against Hamilton.

Thank you

Now why would we go and watch another game when our own team is playing a rather important match at Forfar that day? In case you haven't noticed we are up to our necks in a relegation struggle. You are not the only team that is having problems you know.

Thank you.

Re: Another plea

All fans that cant make it to Forfar...

Re: Another plea

Apologies, meant to say that.

Even if you cannot make it to any pars games, which is understandable, i would urge everyone to donate some money to the save the pars fund, we are not asking for £100 here, only a couple of quid (which i do understand is still alot to ask considering the recent financial struggle) but we as fans, need to unite and make sure scottish clubs do not go under. I fear if Dunfermline do, then several clubs will follow in the not too distant future. Please give what you can.

Cheers

Re: Another plea

Any chance of Dunfermline making a statement on SPL2? I'd like to help but need know if youse might stab us in the back before I do.

Best of luck, whatever happens.

Re: Another plea

Good point.

Re: Another plea

We actually were not at the meeting of the SFL clubs due to the club's financial plight, although we are usually very outspoken in our views and hopefully if this sorry mess is resolved we will make our views clear regarding league reconstruction.

I would ask all fans to donate and they can do so by reading the information provided in the link.
