Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

East Fife v Stranraer

The Board of Directors have decided to reduce admission for our fixture on Tuesday 9th April 2013 (7.45pm kick off) :

ADULT £10.00

CONCESSION £5.00

UNDER 16s Free of Charge

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

This should apply for EVERY game for the rest of the season, the way things have been going.

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

This could be the game that consigns us to the play offs. But rest assured according to Barr the next 6 games are massive and the boys are trying. Don't won't to sound negative but if that is them trying I would hate to see what happens when they aren't!

Less talker on twitter and more effort on the pitch would be more appreciated by the fans. It is easy to talk a good game!

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

I would definitley include it in signing talks going forward. There's a clear correlation between twitter posts and being a shite player (you know who you are).

Thus... Do you have a Twitter account, Mr Player? Yes, I do. Sorry, we can't offer you terms.

Easy.

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

Fair play to the board for reducing prices for massive game. I`ve not been to Fife game in ages but i`ll be at Forfar Sat and Bayview for Stranraer game. Surely we will win a game soon?

Got to agree with this. Never read it,never tweeted but any player who criticises any aspect of how the club is run should be out the door.
If they feel srongly enough about anything they can talk to the Manager. If they get no satisfaction they can leave. The players involved are the equivelant of the lonlies (noun)on AFTN.
These views are mine and mine alone. Mrs TOC does not know I have posted this as she may take me to Tesco on Sat. pm and guess who I will meet there.

You just can't help being a fanny.

I don't use twitter; can you give us a clue?

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

Jeek,
A bit OTT when KotS was only expressing an opinion. You seem to be a bit of a hidden gem.

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

Well done the Board! Kids in free!

Hope someone's on the case of local newspapers and radio to get the word out.

If any of us can think of anyone who might like to bring the kids along, make sure they know about this.

Re: East Fife v Stranraer

A good gesture by the Board.

Let's hope the players reduce Stranraer in the process.

Agree it should be for the rest of the season. I'd go further by letting concessions in for free.

We need to get support behind the team, but we also need something worth supporting.

Well done the board.
