Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Just seen the highlights and Billy Brown`s post match comments.

"Its not me " well sorry Billy you are the manager and its your responsability to motivate the players but with every post match interview you seem more and more intent on distancing yourself from the problem.

"Its very difficult for me given the positions iv been in in the past"- what the F@@K has that got to do with the mess we are in right now- I am really sorry for you if this situation is embarrasing you but you seemed very happy taking the plaudits when we had a wee run after you first took over.

He obviously thinks he`s too good for us and its ONLY the players who are at fault.

I think he`d be better going now we might just get a positive reaction from the players whilst its still mathematically possible to stay up.

Why don't we let the players sort it out and let brown go now. The players might feel they know the best team to put out instead of playing out of shape players

You cant blame the manager for saying what we all see.Poor decision making and a poorer mentality.Most of the players have some talent in fits and starts,but you cant make players want to have a winning mentality.Thats the reason they are playing at the lower levels of scottish football,poor decision making and poor mentality.Im sure he knows what kind of characters are needed to address the problem.No leader on the park either,just look at stranraers goal,centre half gets a free run to head the ball,then a no challenge tap in,no leader there to organise.
