I took over running the club's Twitter account a few weeks ago and I'm looking at ways to improve it for the coming season.

I'm looking to get a team of people together who might be willing to help with match day updates. You wouldn't have to do it every week but hopefully if enough people volunteer then between us we can make sure that the official account is always able to be updated with goals and incidents during matches.

Great effort. I've not bought a programme in years, I assume the twitter account gets a mention? Based on the improvements I've seen it's a great way for folk, especially not living in Levenmouth, to keep up so should get a decent shout out in the programme.

Sounds good. This is just what we need, more communication from the club and about the club. I've never used Twitter myself, except for following the game at Peterheid on their one. Would welcome a more EF tinted view.

Could you extend things to off-field matters as well? There's an affy clamour for information about player signings just now, and the club appears to have taken part in a vote to disband the Scottish League last week. Not sure if you're well enough connected for that, but quite sure there's people wanting to know.

A couple of times I've tried to post from my phone to AFTN from Bayview, but found there was no internet reception unless you go out to the pie-stand side. You might want to do your own assessment, maybe other networks are different, or maybe the club has wifi they could let your volunteers use.

I don't really have any insights in to off field matters other than getting a heads up when something goes on the official website. I'm just a fan who was annoyed at how poorly the club was using twitter so offered to try and improve it a bit. I'd like nothing better than someone more in the know to take it on but until that time I'll do what I can.

If there's one thing that sports teams know how to do over here it's to fully utilise social media. Some great twitter spats between some clubs.

We were thinking of getting the AFTN up and running more to do this, so we don't have to now, but happy to help out any way I can from being so far away from it all
