Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Programme 2013/14

First friendly in 3+ weeks time and the real stuff starting not long after that.
We already have a few new ideas lined up for the season but again it would be good to get suggestions as to the content for the new season covering verything from new features through to adverts. It would also be good to have articles from new contributors. These can be from a a few hundred words up to a series running through the season.
You can post your ideas here but preferably use the email address provided.

Re: Programme 2013/14

What about communication page View from the chairperson or View from the boardroom. A results page or information page from youth development squads same for the ladies team.

And so as not to make the programme too big can you cut back on all the stuff about overseas teams. I now know more about American football/soccer than I do about the game in this country.

Re: Programme 2013/14

Lee Murray is planning to do a weekly column & youth stuff also in hand

Re: Programme 2013/14

Met with LM this week to discuss the programme and Robert Cargill was there.
In addition to the Manager's and Captain's reports there will be a Chairman's report.
Robert will be arranging coverage of youth's teams of all ages and I still need to contact EF Ladies

Re: Programme 2013/14

Ok thanks for info, only other suggestion is club shop takes a page to display offers or sales thinking along the line of some itemms being on discount for a month or something like that

Re: Programme 2013/14

That was discussed on Wed and space will be available for that. It was available last season but the board did not want it.

F@ck me , the board did not want it. [/quote] REALLY ??????? the programme should have a full page for the club shop , offers or not, all items should advertised in the match day magazine .

Re: Programme 2013/14

The first rule of Fife Club was: Do not talk about Fife Club.
