Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

John Robertson and Billy Brown

John and Billy have both offerd to be hearts assistant for free.

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

Canny slag off Robbo he will be an asset, but BB you would have thought he would realise the Jambos had enough problems without him turning up with his great ideas

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

Maybe he's keen to add "in administration" to the places he's been.

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

C`mon guys, give him a break eh? Hearts are "strugglin`" just now.

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

Oh I like that......

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

Billy will always be second best to the manager as assistant and we have all learned that last season, I won't be surprised if he joined jj at dunfermline aswell and other one to add to his uk passport for going places.

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

Wind back about 15 months or so. Was not the problem with JR the travelling from Inverness to Methil and this was one reason he wanted to pack it in. Is Inverness to Edinburgh appreciably shorter?

Re: John Robertson and Billy Brown

Inverness to Edinburgh via A 9 156 miles.

Inverness to Edinburgh via A 93 171 miles.

Inverness to Leven via A 9 142 miles.

Inverness to Leven via A93 157 miles.

At least there is a train service direct from Inverness to Haymarket.
