Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Game v Killie

Going to miss all the games between now and the Morton game, so good luck to the boys in the games against Killie, the Accies and Forfar. We look as though we'll be pretty thin on the ground tonight with Willis and Christian Nade injured and all the youths away in Portugal. What happens with Adam Bouzid with regards to suspension after his Red Card v Cowden ? Hopefully there will be some more trialists involved tonight and Sat and by the time the Forfar game comes around the squad is complete. Look forward to keeping up to date by the Twitter feeds. C'mon the Fife !

Re: Game v Killie

If the ref reported the red card which he undoubtedly would have seeing as he was so officious on Saturday then both players will serve an automatic one match ban starting with the first competitive game of the season. Even if Adam Bouzid goes back home the ban will still count there or anywhere he goes.
Might even be a two match ban for violent conduct

Re: Game v Killie

What has happened to stevie Campbell never seen him involved in any games is he injured,he was by far and away our best player in the play off games.

Re: Game v Killie

Believe Stevie Campbell is football coaching in America with Andrew Cook for 6 weeks. If we sign Ishmael Bouzid, think Stevie will struggle to get a game especially after missing pre-season

Re: Game v Killie

Football coaching in America, great development for Stevie I am sure, but that doesn't help us much. So we don't know really what players are going to start the season with. We have the youths, who is it correct to say will be supporting the first team squad, away in Portugal getting to experience European football etc. Just wonder how the gaffer is preparing his plans for the start of the season, must be mighty difficult. Look forward to tonight though, always enjoy games against Kille, after all they were present on our greatest day.
