Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Programme V Morton

Well here we are, first competitive home game and a packed programme to go with it.
The old favourites are still there but this first programme contains articles which will create so much demand the new sales executives will be run off their feet.
An article and colour photo of a 70's game V Morton when Admiral were a name in strip manufacture. EF's orange, yes orange with black tramline strip with the narrative "one can't fail to admire the smartness and creativity behind these outfits"

15 players left EF at the end of last season - where are they all now ?

An interview with LM in which he answers questions on his initial involvement, majority shareholding, early statements regarding signed players,Nacho Novo and much, much more

A "look back" match report and photos of our magnificent escape at Peterhead.

A short history of Morton and Memories of past games V Morton

Report and photos from the Portugal trip

A new series on Junior clubs by Jim Corstorphine

As I mentioned all the old favourites are still there as well and amazing as it may seem the price for this throughout the season will still be £2 although special editions may appear.

Re: Programme V Morton

What about football from the four corners of the globe, has that been dropped, how can I survive without knowing what Kenny Millers getting up to in Vancouver or how Ajax got on entertaining Feyenoord.

Ah well back to living in my insular wee world I suppose.

By the way what's Daley Blind getting up to at the moment

Daley is still with Ajax and daddy Danny is assistant national coach. Daley recently made his debut in the national team so you could say it was the blind leading the blind. .

I'll get my coat on the way out.......

Re: Programme V Morton

Don't fret Walter there is a View From Abroad(Holland) in this week.

Re: Programme V Morton

Think its pretty bad criticising the articles about whats happening abroad. I've heard a few folk say that. Fair enough I prefer to read about East Fife or Scottish football stories but at the end of the day each to their own.
