Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Steven Campbell

Is he still with us? Didn't appear to feature in any pre-season games too.

Re: Steven Campbell

hink ah saw summin about him being away with wurk for a bit. My understanding was that he had signed and would appear later on.

Re: Steven Campbell

Was doing football coaching in the States with Ex Fifer Andrew Cook. Should be back soon

Re: Steven Campbell

Back this week I believe!

Re: Steven Campbell

If fit get him straight back in the team at sweeper and move dutoit to full back. This will strengthen the team as we have lost poor goals in both cup ties.

Re: Steven Campbell

Would like to see campbell back and play at left back this mean move stoney to midfield on the wing, better option don't you think?
Durie, dutot, mbu and campbell

Re: Steven Campbell

I hope the poster in the know is right as Stevie would be a great addition to the back four. However I don't agree with putting him in at full back. He has decent pace and would be good beside Joe in the centre of defence Dutot could possibly have a go at full back or the manager could possibly consider playing 3 - 5 - 2

Re: Steven Campbell

I'd like to see Campbell taking over from Muir in the midfield, he's a very good footballer, wins most headers and he'd give us a much needed dig in that area.

Good idea, but I personally think Dutot would be better in the midfield, get Campbell at the back with big Joe and let the Frenchman become our anchor in the middle!!!

Re: Steven Campbell

What about Gary Naysmith.

What about Gary Naysmith.

Needs to play left back, given that we don't have one.
