Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

I was looking on the official website for information on player sponsorship (cost etc) but couldn't find anything and there was nothing in the programme. Do you have any info on player sponsorship?

Quite a few of the home sponsorships are taken but there are still away strips to be sponsored. Please ask at club for Alex Hamilton or Brian McNeill.

Sorry for lack of info here on player sponsorship, the cost for home and away is £100 ONLY
For this amount each sponsor will receive a signed top at the end of the current season and signed only by the player you have sponsored.
In the past it was the same price but no top, we feel fans need to be rewarded for supporting these players, Also the sponsor will be advertised on the official site and in the home programme.

Brian,That sounds a big improvement than recent seasons. i sponsered stony in his 1st season at the Fife,£100 home shirt. At the end of the season i didnt even get a letter of thanks never mind a top. I thought i would have received a letter at th end of season asking if i wanted to continue to sponser Stony or another player. I didnt so the club has lost £100 a season from me as i was disgusted at the treatment. I also e-mailed the club informing them of my disgust but no reply. So Brian good to hear some progress!!!

All sponsors will recieve their tops when the season concludes and the player has signed the required top.

THERE are a good number still available and i will be glad to help the sponsor whether local , abroad or otherwise please phone the club for further details Thank you.
