Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

E-mail re Rangers Game

Does anyone know why I've got a message from East Fife saying I can buy tickets for the Rangers game tomorrow morning?

I thought I'd already bought tickets? Or is this if season ticket holders want to buy MORE tickets for this game alone? Sorry if this is a stupid question!

Cheers

(MON THE FIFE!)

Re: E-mail re Rangers Game

As far as I know the tickets do not go on sale until tomorrow
for season ticket holders only, then what is left will be sold to the rest of the supporters.

Re: E-mail re Rangers Game

I think that you need to confirm that you are going to the game and reserve your seat.

Re: E-mail re Rangers Game

I've just had a message saying it is for the Rangers AWAY game in a couple of weeks. I'm a dick.

Thanks Mini!

See these newbies..............

Re: E-mail re Rangers Game

Lost count of the amount of local Rangers fans that claim to have been promised complimentary tickets to the Rangers game by someone or another at the club. If they're all telling the truth the club won't stand to make very much from the game.

We don't make any money from this game, we put money into their coffers every time we buy a ticket.

Re: E-mail re Rangers Game

Yep,every penny of the 18 quid a ticket goes straight into the Rangers coffers. I suppose if they run low on funds again, they can always arrange another, ahem 'charity' match.

I should've made myself clearer, it's the game at Bayview that lots of local Gers fans are claiming to have been promised comps for.
