Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Stewards

More interested about fans smoking. I got told to fuck off and shut my puss , 90% of people from this area are rangers fans deal with it. The same steward had no badg. Is this what we have to put up with from our own stewards. ? The sad thing is it will be the same again in march

stewards and police a disgrace, not doing their jobs. about 15-20 rangers fans in front of stand jumping up and down when rangers scored...utter disgrace

Just been reading twitter. Some very angry people on there, so going to be interesting on here for next couple of days.

From all that I'm reading our club have let us down very, very badly in this one.

Disappointing after all the good work they've done off the pitch so far.

Police told fans that there was nothing that they or stewards could do about them....of course there was your THE POLICE !!!!!! FFS would have been diffrent story if EF fans were in away...

Was told ,it happens at other grounds so deal with it by a policeman who seemed to be absolute shitting it.There again I dont blame him when the stewarding consisted of Brannigans door staff supplemented by a load of wee teenage girls in high viz vests.Absolutly shocking

The blame lies purely with the club and this fucking obsession they have with Rangers. This could really have kicked off today and the warnings were there well before this game was played.
Never mind, the pubs that had the union jacks put in their windows will be busy today.

If police Scotland decide that putting people out is more hassle than leaving them where they are there is not much anyone from effc can do about it.

The police are responsible for their actions, personally think their inaction was a disgrace, but they do not take instructions from football clubs or anyone associated with them. Don't blame people who worked extremely hard to get this match on today with a record new bayview attendance
