Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

O/T - Fife Flyers Half-Price - Saturday 9 November

Fife Flyers are offering half price entry to season ticket holder football fans from the four Fife teams.

They're not having the best season, but this is a great offer.

Re: O/T - Fife Flyers Half-Price - Saturday 9 November

We already watch one shite team on a Saturday so I'll pass on watching another. Good grief!!

Re: O/T - Fife Flyers Half-Price - Saturday 9 November

I took in a Flyers game earlier this year (think it was the night of the Stranraer away game), was a good watch, wished I'd known some more about the basics before I went, but all in all very enjoyable

Two adults and a kid cost me £41, which was more expensive than I had thought it would be, so using a season book is a decent saving.

Will be home from Arbroath in plenty time so going to go along

It is a wee bit expensive for a family of 4, but it can be a great family night out and, as you say, a bargain at half price.

It is also the top level of hockey in the UK.

I'll help you out with the rules anytime!

Make sure the wifey at the cash desk has her calculator as no way did I get in for half price with my boys the last time.
Great match though and would go back.

Should be £8 and adult and £4.50 a kid, so £25 for a family of 4. (I used a calculator to work that out)

Hope you made the match. It was amazing!

Re: O/T - Fife Flyers Half-Price - Saturday 9 November

I did.

Really enjoyed that (far more than match vs Coventry), think the fighting helps!

Made a rookie error of still wearing black and gold (had went to Kirkcaldy straight from Arbroath) - not knowing the Pnathers play in black in yellow - oops!!

Fear the Beard!
