Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

team for tomorrow

Hope to see one or two changes tomorrow.Would like to see fash getting a start alongside liam.I would prefer if we went out and had a go from the start. Our goals against is not that great so why not try and score more goals from the start.

Re: team for tomorrow

Totally agree.

Re: team for tomorrow

Let Stranraer worry about us rather than giving them too much respect. It's Stranraer we are playing not Bayern Munich !!

Re: team for tomorrow

Fash is nowhere near ready to start. 3 goals mid week yes, against stenny u17, every time he takes it in shimmies and turns onto his left to easy to read. Don't rush the boy he will get the chance I have no doubt. That said he prob will start the moz

Re: team for tomorrow

Liam and Cedric please

Re: team for tomorrow

Cedric will be lucky to play for East Fife again.

Re: team for tomorrow

Bon I do recall another player that used to play for us and he always turned inside with the ball was that easy to read ?.That was Bobby Linn anyway 5 goals in two reserve games deserves a start. In his last start fash went upfront and liam went into midfield and i thought Fash played reasonably well and deserves another chance.

Re: team for tomorrow

Give the boy a go,, we are not Bayern Munich either he is as good as the rest, well no as gid as wee Liam, he is the pocket rocket
