Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

National Disgrace

Cannot believe Abbey has won Strictly tonight,Natalie was far and away the superior contestant,and far better looking.The British public should hang their heads in shame!Fuckin disgrace and has totally spoiled my night.

I am not a Celebrity Clown Dancing fan but the minute this contest was opened to the viewing public it became a farce.
Instead of being judged on their limited ability the contest winner is decided by lechers whose voting system (called the Kleenex vote I believe)is based on the physical attributes of the female celebrities. Unfortunately I have heard this discussion take place on the 1938 bus between two normally run-of-the-mill lechers but who certainly raise their game for this event.

We need our celebrities. We need their regular life threatening illnesses. We need their regular relationship tragedies. We need their sexuality dilemas. We need someone to look up to. Just try to imagine television without celebrities. Let's not scare them away.

Very narrow minded view NTOC,I suppose you weren`t even affected by the news this morning that Artem and Kara had split up????You heartless bastard!As for Newby you seem to be forgetting that this was a DANCING competition.Whatever Natalie subjected Tyrone to should never have been considered as it had no relevance in the grand scheme of her title aspirations.That girl was robbed despite dancing her perfectly formed breasts off.

See above "we need their relationship tragedies". Of course I was gutted and hope that they get back together soon or one of them will need to undergo a life threatening illness scare. Bad news is that they have run out of time to release a greatest Christmas hits CD.
