Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

v Dunfermline

Notice that tickets are on sale for the Dunfermline game and it looks like the terracing will be open.
Anyone know if season ticket holders with allocated seats will be able to stand in the terracing instead?

Re: v Dunfermline

Great news about the terracing. Let's make a big noise, we've waited 15 years to stand at an East Fife home game!

Re: v Dunfermline

Good news about standing! Should we organise a singing section for the terracing? It would be great to finally have atmosphere at Bayview! Cant wait!

Re: v Dunfermline

Why the fuck would you stand in the terracing end if you have reserved seats as a season ticket holder ? what would happen to your EMPTY SEATS ? FFS

I would imagine so since the chances of a sell out will be slim.

FFS I have a f****** reserved seat but prefer to stand at f****** football but preferably covered. This is one b****** who will try for the f****** standing area. I am sure some c*** at the club can mark up a f****** seating chart saying my f****** seat is available ( don't do silly cartoon faces)

Re: v Dunfermline

I'm very disappointed to see NTOC using such bad language, tut tut. Anyway I'm sitting in my f (can't find the asterisk) seat.

Re: v Dunfermline

If you have a designated seat and intend using it, do I need a ticket like last time????

Taken from club website.

ALL SEASON TICKET HOLDERS SHOULD PICK UP THEIR RESERVED SEATING TICKETS BEFORE THIS GAME. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VOUCHER NUMBER IS 12 AND SHOULD BE HANDED INTO THE OFFICE IN EXCHANGE FOR THE SEATING TICKET.

I have a season ticket and want to use the terracing. When I pick up my reserved seat and tell them I want to use the terracing, I will be given the instructions I need, I'm sure?

Re: v Dunfermline

I got my ticket yesterday but was offered the choice of my seat or terracing so what is the problem.

Re: v Dunfermline

There is not a problem. Just sit where Mr 305 of the seat police tells you.
