Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Buses to the Away games

Only 2 away games to play, myself and becky would like to thank everyone who has travelled on the bus to the games over the last 5/6 years with us .The ayr game is the last game we will be running a bus to away games.Thank you all for your support, We have enjoyed a lot of it, I think the most enjoyable was the Aberdeen game ,before we started The 1938 Travel Club,I enjoyed our bus in Ireland.A big thanks to all who have helped over the years.

Re: Buses to the Away games

Zack. I am leaving for work today and will miss the rest of the season. Thanks to you and Becky and all the others that helped making the bus a great away day. It will not be the same driving to the away games. I hope that when we are challenging next season that somehow/someone will run a bus.

Re: Buses to the Away games

Sorry to hear no more bus trips to an away game.

I enjoyed myself to the games I travelled with you also the people on the

bus were great as they all made me welcome.

I also saw parts of Scotland I had never seen if it were not for your bus a

trip to Elgin comes to my mind.

If I make it over for next season I hope to see both you and Becky at a home

game.

Big Rab.

Re: Buses to the Away games

A massive blow to the many supporters who travelled comfortably, safely and with an enormous feeling of friendship. The humour, tears and dramas over the years will not be forgotten by me.

Thank you Kenny, Becky and the rest of the away bus team.
