Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

TEAM V airdrie

This wont be a game for players who don't have any heart or fight, and what I have been watching recently their is a few who fall in to this category. We look secure at the back in open play, but nearly every set piece is our down fall. I hope that we have been working on this in training, because I feel this is where Airdrie will fancy their chances from. I have never seen a team put 11 men in the box at every corner and still struggle to defend properly. I am not sure if we will go with the 433 formation we have used the last few weeks. Airdrie will try to over power us in the middle of the park, as they have very big physical players. We will need 11 men who are going to fight tooth and nail. t

Yes I would agree with that team bayview boy, think every one would agree that this is not the stage for johnny stewart or o neil. Far too light weight and every fan seen them jump out of tackles last week.

. Will Lewis Barr be back for Saturday? Really hope so. A winner with a great attitude! If only some of the others in the team were the same.
