Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

LAST CHANCE SALOON

We have all been saying for the last 4 weeks this is a must win game. How ever this doesn't appear to have registered with the players. For weeks now I have hoped the next game can save our season, but we have been served up the same crap, with no desire or fight. We have had four or five chances to save the season, now the players have to show something different, and show they care about the club and the fans and all connected with East Fife. Its time to show they have the winning mentality, and burst a gut to get us out this sorry mess. How many chances have we had to get out the bottom 2,when it all starts at 7 45 tomorrow this will be our last chance. Surely the players heart and desire has to be bigger than I have witnessed in recent weeks. I am hoping for the best, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, if these players let themselves and everyone else down. The fans have been great all season please repay our blind faith by giving everything for the cause. We can all accept that we maybe lack a bit of quality, but desire and commitment can go a long way in games like this. COME ON THE FIFE

COME ON THE FIFE? Does that mean the players after you have practically left them without a name in the rest of your post? You certainly know how NOT to motivate people do you? And as for saying the fans have been great all season??? There's nothing more hollow than blowing your own trumpet!

COME ON THE FIFE? Does that mean the players after you have practically left them without a name in the rest of your post? You certainly know how NOT to motivate people do you? And as for saying the fans have been great all season??? There's nothing more hollow than blowing your own trumpet!


Fair enough, these guys may not want do it for the club, the manager or the fans but they should at least be doing it for themselves, professional pride and all that. That's pretty much all we can ask for now.
