Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Keep It Up

Well done to the players and management on getting the win today but the hard work is only beginning.

Keep the focus for the Final and take some belief from this one.

Can't wait to see the video.

Re: Keep It Up

Could not be there today and missed a classic finish.Managed to follow some live text on the BBC website. Did not help however that BBC TV Teletext twice reported "Clyde win the tie".

Re: Keep It Up

So gutted didn't come through for this game now gutted I have to say but I followed east fife on twitter and we're brilliant to keep the likes of me informed on the suitation at Bayview Stadium, thanks guys top notch

Re: Keep It Up

BBC Scotland need to up their game! 8:00pm and they still have Clyde as winning the tie. Also no mention of play off scores in midweek either on teletext or Reporting Scotland at 10:30pm but they did have Premier Leagu results.

It's a disgrace and slap in the face to the lower leagues

Re: Keep It Up

Your right, it was hard to find these Scottish play-offs listed anywhere a couple of days ago. For Scottish media to be virtually ignoring them makes me sad and angry. How can we have a healthy domestic football set up with those attitudes. And well done to the team today, wasnt there but just to win may turn out to be a vital turning point.

Re: Keep It Up

Great stuff today. Although my nails are almost gone, superb atmosphere at Bayview this afternoon. Both teams rode their luck at times but we deserved the win in the end. Good to see the effort put in by everyone on the pitch today.
Clyde time wasting and the long throws really spoiled the game...tactics I suppose.
Keep up that commitment and we should be ok....
