Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Cmon Lee

It would mean an offy lot to the fans if we could get free transport once again. I know its alot to ask for but the truth is there will be more turning up at Stirling

Re: Cmon Lee

Why not ask for it to be subsidised, so that the club doesn't have to dip too much into funds that could be better used to improve the squad? Not everything needs to be free. I don't know how much it costs for a bus, but say something between £3 - £5 a head, could be a fair price, which gives the fans a help and the club isnae too much out of pocket?

Re: Cmon Lee

Even that would be decent, hopefully the chairman reads this

Re: Cmon Lee

I am sure that stirling when they played annan away charged a similar amount as the prices suggested.I also noted that when stirling were at home SEASON TICKETS ARE VALID.

Re: Cmon Lee

Is there away bus going to strling ?

Re: Cmon Lee

I`m sure there will be an announcement regarding transport to Stirling. I would hope that there will be buses provided for the game and agree that even if fans had to pay something then that would be fine.
We need as may as possible going through.

Re: Cmon Lee

FFS get through and support your team. Its a final, why do you need subsidised travel?

Maybe Zak could run a bus - oops, he's in the huff with Lee.

Re: Cmon Lee
