Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Come along and support our lads in the SPFL League One Play Off Final.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

Surely season ticket holders of the season past should be priority when tickets are being distributed.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

Looks like us season ticket holders will end up in any seat.
Feel sorry for the young ones who have created the atmosphere recently are also going to be split up and moved all around the stadium.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

The club have a record of who sat where all season so surely something could have been done to reserve season ticket holders seating arrangements.

Poor reward for support given through whole season.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

I might come along if Lee Murray organises subsidised buses from Kirkcaldy, which stop in Dysart.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

Cannot for the life of me think why it has been made all ticket.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

Someone needs to speak to Lee about the drum crowd being able to stand at the front or even section of a couple of rows at the back and ask fans when purchasing a ticket if they would want a seat there

It's possibly a Polis decision. If they reckon a ground will be above a certain % of its capacity, they can order the game to be made all ticket.
I think it's something like 70% - so that would equate to around 1400.
A lot of neutrals might be swayed one way or the other by both the East Fife score on Wed night and also the Cowden v Dark Side score, as their game is live on teuchtar telly on Sunday afternoon.

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

Does anyone know what the maximum number of tickets one person can purchase is?

Re: Play off Final on Sunday

I would think as many as you want but if you need them all together you'd call fast & book them
