Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Back to our natural place

In the fucking basement league. If we don't finish bottom next season then it will be a fucking miracle. We are fucking shite and we quite honestly are not worthy of playing the like of Cowdenbeath.

It is fucking true and it hurts.

Re: Back to our natural place

I don't think we have beaten cowdenbeath never mind playing them it sick to watch them and rovers be in division one while we go to worst grounds part fae Qp & Clyde, low crowds and in the worst leauge.
It's time to bring back Dave baikie.

Re: Back to our natural place

If we are last place next season, we'll be in the Lowland League playing teams like Gretna's newco, Gretna 2008.

Hunter. We are all feeling bad, no doubt. Are you old enough to have been around in the 80's when Davie Clarke's team missed promotion to the premier league by just two point on the last day at Falkirk? Same season reached 1/4 final of the Scottish? The board then allowed the manager and a lot of the squad go!!! Instead of going for an improved push the following season??? Now THAT'S something to moan about. Get over this season and look forward to next season. Lots of lessons learned. WE WILL BE BACK.
