Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

FTAO Trust members

This was sent to members but there are a few who have changed email addresses so please send me your new address.

The Trust recently bought another 1000 shares which brings our total to 6234.
A small % of the total but it still puts us well up in amongst the best of the rest.
Towards the end of the season we presented a cheque for £1000 to Youth Development to assist with training facilities.
The Trust also helped to subsidise the buses for the away leg of the Stirling Albion game.

Well done the Trust.

Re: FTAO Trust members

Who did you buy the shares from? I thought all the shares had been taken but then I have been wrong before.

This thread was marked for Trust members and although you are probably not a member it is unlikely any other non member will read this and what I tell you will remain a secret.
Stuart Hall and Max Clifford had been planning a coup prior to the demise of Collumbine/Twigg/Johnstone/Rankin/etc etc as they felt that the consortium did not have EFFC as close to their hearts as they would.
Unfortunately recent events have meant an extended holiday for the pair so they had to unload their shares pronto and at any price.
Fortunately they had a disgraced Leven lawyer to consult and the Trust were able to buy these shares at £0.18 each.
I would appreciate any information regarding other celebrities who may have been involved in the coup and who may be entertaining a captive audience soon.

Please remember if this bombshell news becomes mainstream it can only have come from you.
