Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

So, how are we feeling?

About how the team is coming together? looks pretty promising to me.

Where was Cook today?

could do with a couple more signings.

Re: So, how are we feeling?

Spoke to Alan before the game and he said that he was injured, fash and Stevie Campbell are on holiday and Kevin will miss first 6 games of the season I've heard.

Re: So, how are we feeling?

Much better after today! Good performance, more chances created today than in the last three games. Fleming was safe in goals now that the defenders have worked out he is left footed. Trialist at right back, anybody know who he is, was a bit shaky to start with. Need to see him again to make mind up. Defence fairly steady with Stevie Campbell head and shoulders above everybody else. Midfield grafted away closing down opposition. Thought Ross Brown looked a little out of sorts today. Liked the look of Cook, McShane, McAleer, Barr when he came on.
All in all hope we have turned the corner in performances today.

Re: So, how are we feeling?

And we scored!

Re: So, how are we feeling?

A few whispers in the crowd that Kevin Rutkiewicz has had to retire.
Although Moyes and especially Campbell played excellently , there is no natural cover at centre half.

Re: So, how are we feeling?

The whole team played well today especially midfield in first half closing down players, deserved the win today, well pleased!! Alan Cook made a big difference on his return too!!
